TG Environment wins the bid for the wastewater treatment and waste liquid collection system works of the YDMET 8-inch Integrated Circuit R&D, Industrialization, and Packaging/Testing Platform Construction Project

Recently, as the lead entity of a consortium, TG Environment successfully won the bid for the wastewater treatment and waste liquid collection system works of 8-inch Integrated Circuit R&D, Industrialization, and Packaging/Testing Platform Construction Project of Beijing YanDong MicroElectronics Technology Co., Ltd. Winning this bid marks another collaboration between TG Environment and Beijing YanDong MicroElectronics Technology Co., Ltd., jointly contributing to the construction of the Northern Integrated Circuit Industry Technology Innovation Center.
Recently, as the lead entity of a consortium, TG Environment successfully won the bid for the wastewater treatment and waste liquid collection system works of Beijing YanDong MicroElectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "YDMET") 8-inch Integrated Circuit R&D, Industrialization, and Packaging/Testing Platform Construction Project (hereinafter referred to as the "8-inch Integrated Circuit Project"). Following its earlier contract for the ultrapure water system works of YDMET's 6-inch integrated circuit project, this successful bid for the wastewater treatment system works of YDMET's 8-inch integrated circuit project represents another significant achievement for TG Environment, further demonstrating TG Environment’s comprehensive strength in water treatment solutions within the integrated circuit industry.

The YDMET 8-inch Integrated Circuit R&D, Industrialization, and Packaging/Testing Platform Construction Project is located in Plot B15, Eastern District, Beijing Economic Development Area. The project covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters and has a total investment of CNY4.8 billion. The project will be Beijing's first large-scale mass production line for 8-inch integrated circuits, primarily producing 8-inch wafers with a line width of 0.11 micrometers (μm) and their packaged products. Once in full production, it is expected to achieve a monthly output capacity of 50,000 wafers. Upon completion, the facility will serve as a comprehensive chip production site integrating R&D, manufacturing, and packaging for 8-inch chips. Furthermore, this project is one of the 20 key tasks assigned to the Development Zone by Beijing in 2018 as part of its efforts to advance the construction of a national science and technology innovation center. Upon completion and production start, the project will provide a crucial pilot production platform for design companies and research institutions in Beijing, as well as a validation platform for equipment and material enterprises, which will significantly contribute to accelerating Beijing's development into a national hub for integrated circuit industry innovation.
