Recently, TG Environment received its first piece of good news in 2019: TG Environment has successfully won the bid for the wastewater and recycled water system works of the Shaoxing SMIC Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shaoxing SMIC") MEMS and Power Device Chip Manufacturing & Packaging Testing Production Base Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Shaoxing SMIC Project")!
Recently, TG Environment received its first piece of good news in 2019: TG Environment has successfully won the bid for the wastewater and recycled water system works of the Shaoxing SMIC Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shaoxing SMIC") MEMS and Power Device Chip Manufacturing & Packaging Testing Production Base Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Shaoxing SMIC Project")!
The SMIC Shaoxing Project is jointly invested in and constructed by SMIC International, Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Industry Fund, and Shengyang Group. The total investment for the project is CNY5.88 billion, with a planned land area of 217 mu. The project is located at Plot No. 3, Linjiang Road, Gaobu Town, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing. The main construction contents include the construction of a new factory building with an area of 155,000 square meters, the procurement of 1,244 units (sets) of equipment, and the establishment of an 8-inch integrated circuit chip production line. Upon completion, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 510,000 chips and 1.995 billion modules. The project will target the fields of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and power device integrated circuits, with a focus on wafer and module foundry services. Through ongoing R&D investments and a dedication to industrialization, it will construct a comprehensive specialty process base. This initiative will contribute to fostering an IC specialty process industrial cluster in Shaoxing, accelerating the transformation and upgrading from "Made in Shaoxing" to "Intelligent Manufacturing in Shaoxing." Additionally, it will inject strong momentum into national intelligent manufacturing development.
