Recently, TG Environment has achieved another success as it won the bid for the pure water system works of Shandong GRINM Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd.'s large-scale production project of large-size silicon materials for integrated circuits.
Recently, TG Environment has achieved another success as it won the bid for the pure water system works of Shandong GRINM Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd.'s large-scale production project of large-size silicon materials for integrated circuits.
The Shandong GRINM large-scale production project of large-size silicon materials for integrated circuits is funded by China GRINM Group Corporation Limited and Japan RST Inc., and is being constructed by Shandong GRINM Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. The project is located in Dezhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province, with a total investment of CNY8 billion. It will be constructed in two phases: Phase I with an investment of CNY1.8 billion and Phase II with an investment of CNY6.2 billion. This project serves as the flagship initiative for the innovation cluster in the eastern district of Dezhou and has been listed by the Shandong Provincial People's Government as the top priority project for 2019. It ranks first among the province’s 100 key construction projects for 2019. The project holds significant importance for the development of next-generation information technology industry in Dezhou and for fostering a strategic emerging characteristic industrial cluster.
Phase I of the project is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of next year, with an annual production capacity of 2.76 million 8-inch silicon wafers, 1.8 million 6-inch silicon wafers, and 300 tons of large-diameter silicon single crystals. Phase II of the project is anticipated to be completed and put into production by the end of 2021, which can achieve a monthly production capacity of 380,000 6- and 8-inch silicon wafers and 25 tons of large-diameter silicon single crystals per month.
