The 2020 Beijing International Seminar on Micro-Electronics & IC WORLD Conference was grandly held at the Zhaolin Grand Hotel in Yizhuang, Beijing. As an integrated circuit industry water treatment technology service provider, TG Environment was invited to attend the conference and participate in this summit exchange event with the industry alliance!
At 9:00 AM on November 18, leaders from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology presided over the opening ceremony, where leaders from ministries and commissions, the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and the organizers, as well as representatives from the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) and the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), delivered their speeches. Concurrently, an unveiling ceremony for the E-town IC R&D and Headquarters Base was held.
The conference, themed "Pioneering a New Journey in Semiconductors, Leading the Future of Chip Technology," brought together experts and scholars from various organizations including government, enterprises, universities, and research institutes. This conference centered around the development and capital operations of China’s integrated circuit and microelectronics industry, the construction of an innovative and entrepreneurial environment, and the integration of high-end industrial elements, invited prominent figures from the industry to conduct extensive exchanges, thereby providing broader perspectives for the advancement of the industry in Beijing and even nationwide.
During the two-day summit forum, many industry leaders gathered in the main venue to deliver presentations and engage in discussions on topics such as New Trends in the Global Integrated Circuit Industry and Paths to Innovation, The Necessity for China’s Integrated Circuit Industry to Pursue Self-Reliance and Strength, and Opportunities and Challenges for the Chip Industry in the 5G Era. In parallel with the main forum, nine special forums were also held, where contemporaries and peers from the industry convened to facilitate specialized, technologically advanced, and international high-level academic exchanges targeting emerging industry hotspots, all aimed at co-creating a new future for semiconductors!

Mr. Zhang Jianqing, Deputy General Manager of TG Environment, was invited to attend the special forum. He shared some experiences and practices of the TG Environment in UPW TOC treatment technology with colleagues in the industry on the topic of the Removal of Organic Compounds from UPW.
Mr. Zhang Jianqing pointed out that as the semiconductor industry advances, the purity requirements for UPW used in cleaning silicon wafers are becoming increasingly stringent; in semiconductor and other electronics manufacturing processes, the quality of UPW significantly influences the production yield of electronic products, with TOC (Total Organic Carbon), a crucial water quality indicator, facing increasingly stringent testing standards; and addressing how to thoroughly remove organic compounds from raw water is one of the most important challenges faced by colleagues in the industry today. Subsequently, Mr. Zhang provided a comprehensive analysis and explanation of TOC, detailing its sources, removal methods, detection techniques, and control management within UPW preparation systems. His insights were met with unanimous recognition and high praise from the attending colleagues in the industry.
