[Project information]
The construction of the HicoreTech 12-inch wafer core special process production line started on September 26, 2020, located in Haining Economic Development Zone, with a construction area of about 135,000 square meters and a total production capacity of 100,000 wafers per month. The investment for Phase I of the project is 5.572 billion yuan, with 50,000 wafers per month after reaching production capacity.
The project will collaborate with leading international contract manufacturers, research institutes, and universities to jointly develop 3D nano wafer level stacking technology and introduce technology based on implementation.
Upon completion, HicoreTech will be the first 300 mm wafer production line in China dedicated to heterogeneous single-chip integration and related special processes, with 3D chip stacking design and process integration technology, and with the core special processes and large-scale production capabilities required for wafer-level (including grain-to-wafer and wafer-to-wafer) three-dimensional stacking.

This project is the latest representative of TG Environment to continue to break the monopoly of foreign manufacturers on the 12-inch wafer UPW business, and once again show its strength in the direction of localization alternatives, TG Environment will provide UPW and recycled water and other water system overall solutions for this project, effectively ensuring the production line of the project capacity utilization, product yield, and ecological environment-friendly demand. Subsequently, we will make every effort to carry out design, procurement, inspection, commissioning, and other work of the project, and provide customers with quality and efficient services, helping to ensure the smooth completion of the project. In addition to the HicoreTech UPW project, TG Environment has also recently won an order of the UPW system for SK Hynix.
