Water System Engineering of SiEn (Qingdao) Integrated Circuits Co., Ltd.

The process drainage system (PDS) is part of the Integrated Circuit R&D and Production Project Phase I of SiEn (Qingdao) Integrated Circuits Co., Ltd. The project will be located in Qingdao, China, and will be implemented in two phases: Phase I and Phase II. This system mainly refers to the pipeline network for collecting and discharging wastewater and waste liquids. Waste liquids, wastewater, and recycled water come from different water sources, such as process production equipment, central scrubbers, in situ scrubbers, chemical rooms, in situ treatment systems for production equipment, and other facilities such as laboratories, and analytical instruments.
Process Drainage System (PDS) Engineering of the SiEn Integrated Circuit R&D and Production Phase I Project
SiEn (Qingdao) Integrated Circuit Project is the first collaborative integrated device manufacturing (CIDM) project in China. It was jointly invested and established by SiEn (Ningbo), the Administrative Committee of the West Coast New Area of Qingdao, the Administrative Committee of Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone, and Aucma in 2018, with a total investment of approximately 21.8 billion yuan.
With a total investment of 8.1 billion yuan in Phase I of the project, a new 8-inch high-end power and digital-analog hybrid chip product production line, a 12-inch 40−28 nm ultra-low power logic and embedded and RF-SOI advanced chip product production line, and a 180−14 nm photomask version production line were built, with about 50 chip design partners joined the CIDM cooperation circle. Upon reaching the designed capacity in Phase I, the project will produce chip products such as 8-inch MOSFETs, IGBTs, PMICs, and DLPs/MEMS with an annual capacity of 360,000 units, and 12-inch MCUs, analog-to-digital converters (ADC/DAC), CISs, and DSPs with an annual capacity of 60,000−120,000 units, to meet the needs of complete machine manufacturers and ODM manufacturers in the market. Additionally, the photomask production line will have an annual capacity of 12,000 units, which, besides meeting internal needs, will also provide photomask production services to a wide range of domestic and international users.
