UPW System Project of Tongwei (Jintang)
Author:
With a total investment of approximately 20 billion yuan, the Tongwei Solar Photovoltaic Industry Base Project will build an efficient solar cell and supporting project with an annual output of 30GW in Jintang County, Chengdu, with an expected new production value of about 70 billion yuan. The Phase I project is expected to be completed by the end of this year and put into operation in the first quarter of 2021. Tongwei will take the Jintang project as a pilot, actively carry out the application of 5G in the industrial Internet field, build the Jintang project into a model of 5G + advanced manufacturing industry, and rely on Tongwei's industrial manufacturing scene to promote the construction of a photovoltaic green smart town.

The Company is responsible for constructing the pure water and supporting systems engineering for this project.
The main processes are as follows:
1. Pretreatment system: (1) Remove suspended solids and some colloids from the raw water.
(2) Remove some bacteria, microorganisms, and organic matter from the raw water.
(3) Reduce the hardness of the water to ensure the inlet requirements of RO.
2. RO system: Further remove microorganisms, ions, organic matter, and particles from the water to reduce electrical conductivity, etc.
3. EDI system: Further remove organic matter and ions from the water to increase the electrical resistivity of the effluent water.
4. Polishing system: Further remove ions, particulate matter, organic matter, etc. from the water to increase the electrical resistivity of the effluent water, ensuring that all indicators of the final effluent water meet the requirements of production water.
5. MMF system: Remove suspended solids and some colloids from the water.
6. ROR system: Collect 1st RO concentrated water, and recycle it back to the pretreatment system through the treatment of the ROR system.
